From the artist: This piece takes inspirations from the styles found in Van Gogh's Starry Night but expressed through highlighters and markers. As the name suggests, there is smoke, and there is rebirth through the stars. The subjects themselves are experiencing the environment around them in a pondering character as their eyes pierce through what's happening around them.

Robin “Citrus”

“Citrus” or Robin is a 2D Artist who focuses on both traditional/digital mediums and centers his work around realism/rendering and graphic design. He says he’s most captivated by pieces from the Renaissance period. Robin has been drawing ever since he could remember. Robin formed his foundations of drawing by studying Anime/Manga styles at a young age and would try his best to recreate those styles through his art, though it never seemed to go his way. Through this lengthy, arduous process of trial and error, he learned that you don’t have to conform to what's been popularized, thus beginning his road to finding his own style and creative abilities. He now creates pieces with that same enthusiasm of wanting to make something new, pleasing to the eyes, and meaningful.
